PSP detained man for illegal tobacco transport in Estremoz Friday, 12 July 2019 Alentejo The PSP detained yesterday a 36-year-old man in the Estremoz area for transporting illegal tobacco. Man, of Brazilian nationality, is suspected of the practice of the crime of fraudulent introduction in consumption. According to a release from the PSP, the detainee led a light vehicle of goods in which he transported 271 kilos of loose tobacco, distributed by individual bags. Tobacco was enough to produce about 271,000 cigarettes, translating into a state fraud of 47,154 euros.
