Ireland takes steps to ban single-use vapes
The Irish government has passed proposals to ban the sale of disposable vapes and introduce stricter regulation of nicotine products, as part of a broader public health effort to reduce addiction among young people. Health Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill said she had secured cabinet support to publish the Public Health (Single-Use Vapes) Bill 2025, which will ban the retail sale of disposable e-cigarettes.
