In the near future, severe smoking restrictions will come into force in France, aimed at creating a "first tobacco-free generation" by 2032. They will come into effect from July 1, 2025. The new rules prohibit the use of tobacco products in parks, beaches, public transport, as well as near educational institutions and libraries.
