Philip Morris raises prices of cigarettes and heated tobacco by 11% after value added adjustment

Philip Morris has decided to raise the prices of traditional cigarettes and heated tobacco products by about 11%, following recent amendments to the value-added tax law by the House of Representatives. The new prices according to each item were as follows: The prices of Merit cigarettes of all kinds increased from 95 pounds to 105 pounds. The price of Marlboro of all kinds increased from 89 pounds to 97 pounds. The price of Marlboro Crafted went up from 74 pounds to 79 pounds. The price of L&M increased from 69 pounds to 76 pounds.
