Ultra-processed foods are a risk like tobacco: Lancet report calls for state control
The scientific journal The Lancet recently published a special series of three articles in which 43 international experts warn that ultra-processed foods should be treated as a public health problem comparable to tobacco. Among the participants are researchers from the universities of Salamanca and Navarra, who contributed to the most extensive meta-analysis carried out so far on the subject.
