The regulation of electronic cigarettes is on the agenda of the CAE (Economic Affairs Commission), which may be voted on at the meeting scheduled for Tuesday (20), after attempts to vote in the first half of the year. Authored by the senator of Mato Grosso do Sul, Soraya Thronicke (Podemos), Bill 5.008/2023, regulates the production, commercialization and advertising of electronic cigarettes in Brazil.
