... Just today again demanded smoking was just a few decades ago still the most normal – and this for men and women. In my childhood you were so much of an outsider when you didn't smoke, how you can hardly imagine it today. You could be fat, you could be unsportsmanlike, you could even be a striver, if you smoked, if you had cigarettes, you were always there. That has largely changed today. My last cigarette was 40 years ago. Back then, an dropout was still the big exception, because it still smoked a lot and almost everywhere.
