During his time as coach of FC Barcelona, Johan Cruyff was known for his innovative style, his strong character and also for an eye-catching detail that never went unnoticed: his inseparable Chupa Chups. In every match, press conference or training, the Dutch coach appeared with a candy in his mouth. What for many was just an aesthetic anecdote, actually had a more serious background: the Chupa Chups were an essential help for Cruyff to quit smoking.
