In a recently published study, researchers from Innsbruck, Austria, showed how indoor and outdoor physical activity affects smoking cessation. Smoking is one of the leading causes of disease and death worldwide. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), although global tobacco consumption has been steadily declining, in 2020, about 20% of people over the age of 15 still smoked.
