Taste profile Heated tobacco, sometimes called heat-not-burn, is a type of nicotine product that warms real tobacco leaves without burning them to release an inhalable aerosol. The products are growing in popularity because the lower temperature means fewer combustion-related chemicals – and the taste profile is said to be closer to a cigarette compared with the taste profile of vapes.
