Smoking at night prevents you from sleeping well

According to a study by Santé Publique France, 23% of French people (aged 18 to 75) smoked daily in 2024.Synonymous with relaxation for many smokers, evening cigarettes nevertheless alter the quality of sleep because of the stimulating effect of nicotine. Smoking before sleep also promotes the appearance of sleep apnea and snoring.
