Exports of food, beverages and tobacco, which accounted for 19.4% of the total, have registered a growth of 2.6% in the year-on-year to May 2025, reaching 6,787.6 million euros, according to data published by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise. As for imports, they registered a strong increase of 8.4% to 5,064 million euros, resulting in a final balance of 1,723.7 million euros, compared to 1,947.8 million in May 2024.
