Cigarettes rise in price again in Kazakhstan

From July 1, 2025, new minimum retail prices for cigarettes have been set in Kazakhstan - now a pack of tobacco cannot cost less than 920 tenge, inbusiness.kz reports. This increase is due to the implementation of the state policy to reduce the consumption of tobacco products and combat its illegal trafficking. How much do cigarettes cost now: - until June 30, 2025 – at least 820 tenge; - from July 1 to December 31, 2025 – not less than 920 tenge; - from January 1, 2026 – at least 970 tenge.
