Inflation in August was 1.9%: transportation, beverages and tobacco, the items that increased the most
The National Institute of Statistics and Census (INDEC) reported on Wednesday that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) had an increase of 1.9% in the month of August. Thus, in the first eight months of the year the accumulated CPI was 19.5% while the year-on-year climbed to 33.6%.
