Fuerteventura General Hospital declares itself a 'Smoke-Free Space' to strengthen the fight against tobacco
The Fuerteventura Health Area, in collaboration with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), will present next Monday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m., the 'Smoke-Free Space' initiative at the island's General Hospital. The proposal, of a symbolic nature but with a high social impact, seeks to reinforce public awareness of the prohibition of the consumption of tobacco and related products in the hospital environment, and to focus on its direct relationship with cancer and other diseases.
