Man in his 70s dies after tossed-away cigarette caused a garden shed blaze A MAN in his 70s has died after a tossed-away cigarette caused a garden shed blaze. The pensioner suffered "severe injuries" when the shed caught fire Birches Head Road, Stoke-on-Trent on October 8. He has now tragically died in hospital, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said this morning. Cops confirmed that no one else was injured in the accidental blaze.
