Philip Morris Italia aims to collect 1 million devices by 2025 with the Rec project

On World Recycling Day, Philip Morris Italy announced a new goal for Rec – recycling for circular economy: to collect 1 million devices, including Iqos tobacco warmers, Lil and Veev e-cigarettes, by the end of 2025. Launched in January 2024, the project has already exceeded expectations, reaching the mark of 500 thousand devices collected by the middle of the year, with an average recovery of 80% of raw materials, such as plastic, metal, circuits and lithium batteries.
