Proposed SB smoking ban amended at last minute

In a matter of hours the South Bend Common Council is scheduled to vote on a proposal that would ban smoking in all city bars and clubs. This morning, a last minute change was made to the measure. “So, second substitute filed today, the main change would be the implementation date,” said smoking ban sponsor Gavin Ferlic, (D) At-Large.
