Vape Shops Struggle Under Wisconsin's New Regulations
WASHINGTON COUNTY — A new state law has gone into effect, reshaping the vaping market in Wisconsin, leaving store owners, employees and customers scrambling to adjust to it. Beginning Sept. 1, Wisconsin Statute 995.15 requires that only products listed in the Wisconsin Department of Revenue’s Electronic Vaping Device Directory may be sold or possessed for sale in the state. Any device not included is now considered illegal. At present, there are 216 devices listed, subject to seizure and destruction.
