Hancock County prepares for smoking ban to start - Morning Journal News

NEW CUMBERLAND, W.Va.-Hancock County health authorities are in their final push to prepare businesses for a countywide smoking ban that takes effect July 1. As part of the annual permitting process for food establishments, the Hancock County Health Department is including a letter with the application that outlines the responsibilities of businesses. Business owners are reminded in the letter that they must draft and implement a written smoking policy before the Hancock County Clean Air Regulation takes effect.
