Law enforcement officers sold cigarettes that fraudulently asked from a tobacco company "for border guards" — Novosti Kryvyi Rih
The defendants, reports All Kryvyi Rih, forged letters on behalf of the management of one of the units, which appealed to representatives of the tobacco company. In letters, they asked to provide cigarettes as humanitarian aid for border guards, thus receiving about 15,000 packs of cigarettes worth almost 1.4 million. The offenders organized their sale on the local market and various Internet platforms.
