Senacon requests withdrawal of online stores that sell illegal tobacco in Brazil

Brasília, 04/14/2025 – The National Consumer Secretariat (Senacon) notified, on Monday (14), the virtual platform Nuvemshop for the immediate removal of two stores and the unavailability of all irregular products sold by them. The measure was taken after the finding that the companies illegally sell nicotine sachets, also known as snus — a product that, despite being common in some European countries, is prohibited in the national territory because it is not regulated by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa).
