Cigarette Advertising and Easy Access Trigger a Rise in Novice Smokers
VICE Chairman of the Diktilitbang Pp Muhammadiyah Assembly Edy Suandi Hamid presented cigarette advertisements and easy access to purchases triggering a rise in the number of novice smokers in Indonesia. He explained that the increase ranged from 240 percent in 10-14 year olds and 140 percent at 15-19 years old, which was triggered by these two things.
