Balikpapan Bans Cigarette Ads
The Balikpapan City Government issued a policy to prohibit the installation of cigarette advertisements in the form of banners or billboards. This policy was made to support Balikpapan City which has the title of Child-Friendly City. Acting Head of the Regional Tax and Regional Retribution Management Agency (BPPDRD) of Balikpapan City Idham said the ban policy had been made in a circular letter from the Mayor of Balikpapan.
