Varenicline, Pfizer's smoking cessation treatment, is once again available in Spain
The company Pfizer has announced that, as of March 24, varenicline (Champix), its treatment for smoking cessation, will be available again in Spain, while assuring that it has shown positive results "from the first week". Thus, Pfizer points out that its return to the Spanish market is supported by data that support its safety and efficacy when it comes to reducing the number of cigarettes per day four and eight weeks after starting treatment, reports Europa Press.
