Philippines bans use of e-cigarettes
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has banned the use of e-cigarettes, threatening to arrest anyone who smokes them in public in the country. According to Sky News on Wednesday (November 20th), Duterte said liquids used in e-cigarettes have introduced chemicals into the consumer's body, calling them toxic. The new decision came days after Philippine health authorities reported the country's first e-cigarette-related lung injury, noting that it required the hospitalization of a 16-year-old teenager.
