New "Glow" product launched nationwide BAT heat-not-burn cigarettes, September
British American Tobacco Co., Ltd. (BAT) announced on September 23 that it will expand sales of its new heat-not-burn tobacco model "Glow Hero," which was previously released in Miyagi Prefecture, nationwide from September 1. The same series of models "Glow Hero Plus" will also be available at the same time. Competition from Philip Morris' ICOS of the U.S., which holds a high domestic market share, is likely to intensify.
