Rise in tobacco prices in Spain: The price of Marlboro or Chesterfield rises

As happened on January 1, 2025, this Saturday, April 5, the Official State Gazette published the new price list of several tobacco brands, an increase that was resolved a day earlier by the Commissioner for the Tobacco Market. The price increase is applied from the moment it is published in the BOE, affecting tobacconists throughout the Peninsula and those of the Balearic Islands. This is not the case for those in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, where the price of this product is lower due to taxes.
