Nicotine pouches banned in France from March 2026

The government in Paris had announced in the fall of 2024 that it would ban the so-called nicotine pouches after there was an increase in cases of poisoning, especially among young people. The ban, which will now be imposed from March 2026, affects "all nicotine products for oral use", with the exception of medicines and medical devices.
