Is vaping a good alternative. to smoking?

Smoking was cool. Until it wasn’t. In the middle decades of the last century, seemingly everyone smoked. Doctors advertised cigarettes in magazines and newspapers; John Wayne smoked onscreen and off, puffing six packs of Camels a day; immortal journalists Edward R. Murrow and Mike Wallace smoked on-air while delivering the news; presidents including Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Obama smoked. And rock musicians? Well… People smoked in grocery stores, restaurants, planes and, amazing though it may seem, you could buy cigarettes in hospital gift shops to take to patients, who could then smoke in their rooms.
